Design

Hi there! I’m assuming you found this page because you saw some of my graphic design/manipulation images on Reddit. I started doing both free and paid requests recently because I was housebound and boredom was making me stir-crazy! Feel free to benefit from my ennui by letting me do some graphic work for you.

What kind of graphic design projects do I specialize in?

My initial goal in joining Reddit’s PhotoshopRequest group was to challenge myself to learn and practice new graphic design skills. I usually choose my projects by what looks fun or inspires me.

One thing I do not do is “serious” photo work, like restorations and item/person removals. While I could probably make real money doing these, I find them too boring to bother with at the moment, LOL. If you are looking for that kind of help, there are a plethora of talented photo wizards on PhotoshopRequest, so I recommend going there!

Vector Graphics

I have been practicing pixel style art for decades, but recently decided to focus on learning how to vectorize images, so I am always eager to take on these types of projects!

Vector art is a type of digital artwork created using mathematical formulas to define shapes, lines, and curves. This allows images to be scaled up or down without losing quality so they are ideal for logos, icons, and illustrations that need to be resized frequently without distortion.

Meme Style

While I don’t do any “serious” photo editing, I do love turning photos into meme-worthy compilations by cutting and combining different images, usually to humorous or heartwarming effect. In these types of images, realism is not usually a priority, so I can really have fun with it. Common themes for these are:

  • Making pets or people do funny things
  • Turning pets into cartoons or paintings
  • Adding fantastical or mythical items to real-world photos
  • Incorporating text into images

Memorials/Dedications

Many people like to have their lost loved ones or pets memorialized as scrapbook-like images, often adding text or poetry, or incorporating background imagery such as entering heaven’s gates or crossing the rainbow bridge, or looking down upon us from heaven.

Celebrations/Invitations

Images to celebrate birthdays, graduations, pregnancy announcements and more can be a lot of fun! Sometimes requesters have an idea for what they want, or they may just have a list of things a person likes and ask you to compile them in a creative manner.

Background Removals

If you have an image that you want to cut out and make transparent, it can be a challenge to get the edges nice and crisp so they display properly on both light and dark backgrounds. These kind of technical edits are not terribly fun or creative, but I find the process strangely satisfying, so I am always open to helping with these!
