Stella Dog Oil Painting

One of the things I love about painting with Corel Painter is how much depth and texture the brushes have! As a child my grandmother had a beautiful painting of a stream in the Amazon rainforest, and it was painted with thick, touchable paint. I have been obsessed with thick paint ever since, and when I paint I tend to use a lot of texture. It is not for everyone, and in this case, the requester chose another editor’s work, but I still like how it turned out, so I kept it for my portfolio.
