Mischievous Easter Bunny

This edit was a ton of fun and a real challenge to my editing skills! The odd perspective, looking down onto the little girl made it impossible to place her in any flat landscape with even a semblance of realism. The Easter Bunny part was not too hard, he’s an iconic figure and AI generators had no trouble giving me a number of great options to choose from, but getting it to understand I wanted to be looking down onto the landscape from above, but not directly above, was another story! I finally got it to understand when I said I wanted the photo to be taken from the perspective of a bird up in a tree branch.

The next challenge was the little girls feet, which became blurred by that same odd photo angle. the blurriness really ruined my compilation, so I worked with AI again to generate a set of legs that were in the right perspective as well. The result is that her shorts and shoes both changed, but her mom didn’t seem to mind that small change. With the hard work out of the way, I added in some perspective shadows, matching the angle of the existing shadows in the photo, and then I replaced her plastic grocery bag with a proper basket, and changed the plastic egg to a vibrant egg, glowing with magical light.

In my imagination, the mischievous Easter Bunny had hidden a secret, enchanted egg, and was hiding behind the bush waiting for a child to find it. I didn’t have the heart to think of the Easter Bunny as an outright villain though… I like to imagine the enchantment on the egg is something wondrous rather than ominous.
