Virtual Marriage Certificate

The Request

The requester originally posted a request to remove the watermark from a sample image of a “Virtual Marriage License”. This is against the rules of the Reddit groups as it would be copyright infringement. However, I told them that I could create a certificate from scratch to celebrate their love that would be even prettier!

The Results

After speaking more in detail, we decided to stick with the basic premise of the original… a dove with two wedding rings, a gold border frame, and a corner flower arrangement, but to make it more artistic. I also suggested leaving off the “disclaimers” that this is not a real marriage licence, and just make it a declaration of their love, without qualifiers. They chose a phrase that meant something to their romantic history. After getting the text arranged, I found myself with an empty spot to the left side of their names, so I decided to fill it with a sunset being obscured by clouds that just happen to hint at a heart-shaped formation, painted in the same watercolor style.
